Hack Attack, Knowbody, Steelin’ Dan, Stereotype, and Maxx Cabello among lineup
The weekend kicks off Friday, August 22, with a TGIF Early Show featuring Hack Attack at 7 p.m. Marketed as the ultimate 80s rock tribute, Hack Attack revives the hair-band era with soaring vocals, driving guitars, and a setlist filled with the anthems that defined a generation. Each performance is a celebration of rock’s most flamboyant decade, delivering the larger-than-life sound that continues to electrify fans decades later.
Later Friday night, Sacramento’s own Knowbody takes over at 10 p.m. The alternative rock band has built a strong following with a mix of originals and crowd-pleasing covers, crafting a sound that is both raw and melodic. Their dynamic sets and undeniable chemistry on stage have earned them recognition on Good Day Sacramento and local radio, where their reputation for high-energy performances has only continued to grow.
Saturday promises an all-day affair starting at 3 p.m. with Steelin’ Dan. This seven-piece version of the Northern California tribute group captures the signature sophistication of Steely Dan’s catalog. With songs like “Rikki Don’t Lose That Number,” “Reelin’ In the Years,” and “Do It Again,” Steelin’ Dan takes audiences on a jazz-rock journey that has made them Sammie Award winners and Hall of Fame inductees. The scaled-down lineup maintains the same rich arrangements while offering a more intimate take on the music that has earned them loyal fans across California and Nevada.

At 7 p.m., Jean Heart and DJ Rigatony return with the glittering Heart Strings Cabaret Burlesque and Variety Show. The bi-monthly spectacle blends burlesque, music, and performance art with plenty of glitter and flair, featuring local artists and live entertainment for a one-of-a-kind evening in the heart of Historic Folsom.
The night doesn’t stop there. At 10 p.m., the stage lights up again with Stereotype, a Sacramento-based party band known for non-stop dance hits. From Prince and Madonna to Bruno Mars and Pink, Stereotype’s shows are packed with infectious energy, choreography, and seamless transitions that keep the dance floor moving until closing.

The weekend closes out Sunday, August 24, with the Powerhouse of Blues series featuring Maxx Cabello Jr. at 3 p.m. The Bay Area guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter has shared stages with legends including B.B. King and Earth, Wind & Fire, earning acclaim for his powerful guitar work and soulful delivery. At just 22 years old, Cabello is regarded as one of the rising stars of American blues, blending traditional grit with contemporary style to captivate audiences wherever he plays.
