Rhythm Vandals, Gotcha Covered, Four Barrel, The Aces, and Roy Rogers bring the fire to Folsom

The last weekend of June is turning up the volume in Historic Folsom as Powerhouse Pub rolls out five powerhouse performances guaranteed to keep the summer vibe alive. From Santana-fueled rock tributes and party anthems to a blues master who’s toured with legends, it’s a lineup packed with crowd-pleasers, dancing, and unforgettable live music.

It all starts Friday, June 27, with the Rhythm Vandals, who take the stage for the TGIF early show at 7:00 p.m. A staple of the Northern California music scene since the late ‘90s, the Vandals deliver authentic, high-octane renditions of classic rock giants like Santana, Hendrix, SRV, Aerosmith, Bad Company, and more. Their “Viva Santana” set alone is worth the trip, but fans of blues-rock and guitar-driven legends will be treated to a full-spectrum journey of vintage hits that entertain and inspire.

Later that night, Gotcha Covered Band keeps the energy high at 10:00 p.m. with a massive catalog of hits that span decades. From ‘60s and ‘70s classics to ‘90s grunge and modern pop, this dynamic group delivers a genre-hopping party that has something for everyone. Whether you’re singing along or dancing in the crowd, their diverse setlist makes them one of the most engaging cover bands in the region.

Saturday, June 28, kicks off early with the Saturday afternoon dance party featuring Four Barrel at 3:00 p.m. Hailing from Woodland, this high-energy quartet brings an upbeat mix of rock radio staples from the ‘60s to today. Known for their infectious stage presence and loyal local following, Four Barrel’s shows are a no-holds-barred rock ‘n roll good time, driven by tight rhythms, strong vocals, and a commitment to fun.

When the sun sets, the night belongs to Adam Aldama & The Aces, returning to the Powerhouse stage at 10:00 p.m. The Aces are no ordinary cover band—their themed performances have included tributes to Prince, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, and 2000s party hits. Fronted by Aldama and joined by a dynamic cast of musicians and vocalists, the band’s choreographed sets and high-impact energy bring nostalgia and nonstop movement to the dance floor.

Capping off the weekend on Sunday, June 29, is a very special edition of Powerhouse of Blues featuring slide guitar master Roy Rogers & The Delta Rhythm Kings. With eight Grammy nominations and more than 20 albums to his name, Rogers is widely considered one of the most gifted Delta slide guitarists in the world. Known for his long-time collaborations with John Lee Hooker, Bonnie Raitt, Carlos Santana, and more, Rogers delivers searing performances that have wowed crowds at global festivals including Montreux, New Orleans Jazz Fest, and the North Sea Jazz Festival. Now, fresh off a tour with Raitt and a return to live performing, Rogers brings decades of blues mastery and raw passion to the Folsom stage for a 3:30 p.m. show blues fans won’t want to miss.
