FOLSOM — The sounds of polka music, the aroma of authentic German cuisine, and the spirit of community giving will fill the Folsom Community Center later this month as the Rotary Club of Folsom and Folsom Lake Rotary join forces for Oktoberfest 2025.
The annual celebration is set for Sunday, October 26, from 3 to 7 p.m., and promises an afternoon packed with fun, food, and festive tradition. More than just a party, this year’s event is dedicated to supporting the rebuild of Castle Park, one of Folsom’s most beloved recreational spaces.
Guests will be treated to a true Bavarian experience featuring live music from The Gruber Family Band, widely regarded as the best Oktoberfest ensemble in the western United States. With their lively sound, the group will set the tone for dancing, singing, and raising a stein or two in celebration.
In keeping with tradition, attendees can enjoy authentic German beer, wine, and all-you-can-eat cuisine, from bratwurst to pretzels, paired with two complimentary drink tickets included with admission. Doors open at 2:45 p.m., with the band striking up at 3 p.m. Pretzels and beer will be served first, followed by a full German feast at 4 p.m. The silent auction—filled with unique items to bid on—will close at 5 p.m., giving guests one more way to support local causes before the evening winds down.

Tickets are $60 and include entry, dinner, and two free drinks. Reserved tables of eight are available for those who want guaranteed seating, while general admission tickets allow guests to join the fun on a first-come, first-served basis. Authentic Oktoberfest beer steins imported from Germany will also be available for purchase.
Funds raised from the event will go toward community programs that benefit local youth, seniors, and families, with this year’s focus on the Castle Park rebuild. Rotary organizers emphasize that every ticket purchased helps ensure this popular community landmark will return better than ever.
