Fifty-six individuals were arrested during an undercover prostitution sting conducted by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, aimed at combating human trafficking and prostitution in the county.
The recent operation, spearheaded by the Sheriff’s Special Investigations Bureau (SIB) Detectives and supported by various law enforcement units including North, South, and East Patrols, resulted in a total of 56 arrests and the recovery of an unserialized handgun, according to the department.
Detectives utilized a dual strategy, with deputies posing undercover as both sex workers and sex buyers, according to the department.
Sheriff Jim Cooper emphasized the significance of such operations in identifying victims, dismantling criminal networks, and bringing offenders to justice. He reaffirmed the Sheriff’s commitment to combating human trafficking in the region, underscoring ongoing efforts by the Sheriff’s Office to conduct similar operations regularly throughout Sacramento County.
Among those arrested were individuals identified as sex buyers, including Ettienoh Okon Ukoh, 26, of Sacramento; Maksim Volkomorov, 40, also of Sacramento; Nasratullah Sediqi, 34, of Sacramento; Jesus Valencia, 38, of Sacramento; Mukhtarkhail Shahid, 25, of Tucson, AZ; Obaidullah Habibi, 21, of Citrus Heights; Zahid Mukhtarkharl, 25, of Tucson, AZ; Bee Lee, 44, of Sacramento; Bryan Diazduenas, 20, of Lincoln; David Barron, 44, of Sacramento; Manuel Galvan, 18, of Lincoln; Geomal Lyndon Benedicto, 23, of Sacramento; Santos Chicasaenz, 33, of Sacramento; Andy Escobarmarron, 23, of Yuba City; Tkachuk Vladyslav, 30, of North Highlands; Kenneth Robert Smith, 63, of Sacramento; Ahmad Sayeedi, 23, of North Highlands; Vidhu Shekhar, 38, of Sacramento; Samir Sayeedi, 22, of Sacramento; Alfredo Hernandez Olvera, 32, of Sacramento; Fawad Fard, 34, of Sacramento; Ricardo Medina, 31, of North Highlands; Gauge Thompson, 22, of Sacramento; Harsh Kumar, 21, of Sacramento; Gekhaev Baisangur, 23, of Sacramento; Ashit Kumar, 21, of Sacramento; Enrique Mendiolareynoso, 20, of Rancho Cordova; Heber Jimenez Florentino, 22, of North Highlands; and Donald Buckner, 21, of Antelope; Singh Harpreet, 30, of Sacramento.
Each individual faces charges related to solicitation as part of the ongoing effort to combat illicit activities in the community.
