Sacramento County has unveiled a revamped 311 Connect online portal designed to make it easier for residents to submit service requests, manage accounts and access county services in one centralized location.

The upgraded 311 Connect system allows residents to log in using a single Sacramento Countywide user profile — the same account many already use for services such as My Utilities and Revenue Recovery. County officials say the enhancements are aimed at providing a more seamless, secure and user-friendly experience while simplifying how residents interact with local government.

The redesigned portal introduces several new features intended to improve accessibility and efficiency. Residents can now manage all 311 Connect services through one streamlined website, eliminating the need to navigate multiple platforms. The system also allows users to submit new service requests, as well as view and update existing requests in real time. For households or property owners with multiple accounts, the new multi-account support feature enables centralized management under one login.

Also debuting with the upgrade is Cami, Sacramento County 311’s new digital assistant. Cami is designed to help answer common questions and guide users through the portal’s features, making it easier for residents to find information and complete tasks. The county has released a short video introducing Cami and highlighting the portal’s new tools and capabilities.

As part of the transition to the upgraded system, existing usernames will remain the same. Residents will receive an email containing a password reset link to activate their new Countywide profile. The link will expire seven days after it is sent. If it expires, users can select “Forgot Password” on the login page to generate a new reset link.

County officials emphasized that all existing profile information and past service request history will automatically transfer to the new portal, allowing residents to continue managing requests without interruption.

To help ensure a smooth transition, residents are encouraged to log into their current Sacramento County 311 Connect account and verify that their email address and phone number are up to date. Once the password reset email arrives, users should click the link, enter their existing username and update any missing contact details in their new Sacramento County profile.

Residents are advised to watch their inbox for the activation email and explore the updated 311 Connect portal once their account has been activated.
