The Sacramento Kings will begin the 2024-25 regular season at Golden 1 Center, marking their 40th season in Sacramento, against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. (PDT). Next, the Kings head to Los Angeles to take on the Lakers on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 7:30 p.m. (PDT) before returning to Sacramento to play the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. (PDT). Sacramento then heads to Utah to face off against the Jazz on Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. (PDT) on the second night of a back-to-back.
The Kings continue on the road into November with games at Atlanta (Nov. 1), Toronto (Nov. 2) and Miami (Nov. 4) before making their way back to Golden 1 Center for a pair of games versus the Raptors (Nov. 6) and LA Clippers (Nov. 8). Sacramento then hits the road for a back-to-back against the Suns on Nov. 10 at 5 p.m. and Spurs on Nov. 11 at 5 p.m.
The Kings arrive back in Sacramento for a four-game homestand beginning with Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal and the Suns on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. Sacramento then opens up the Emirates NBA Cup on Friday, Nov. 15, taking on Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Kings wrap up the homestand against Utah (Nov. 16) and Atlanta (Nov. 18) before a one-game trip down to LA to take on the Clippers on Nov. 22 at 7:30 p.m. in NBA Cup Group Play. Sacramento returns to Golden 1 Center for a back-to-back against Brooklyn (Nov. 24) and Oklahoma City (Nov. 25) prior to rounding out November at Minnesota (Nov. 27) and Portland (Nov. 29) in the team’s third Emirates NBA Cup Group Play outing.
In December, Kings fans will see many high-caliber matchups at Golden 1 Center, with eight of the team’s 11 scheduled contests in California’s capitol, including Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs (Dec. 1). Sacramento ends Emirates NBA Cup Group Play at home versus the Houston Rockets (Dec. 3) and hits the road for a two-game trip to Memphis (Dec. 5) and San Antonio (Dec. 6) before returning home to play the Jazz (Dec. 8). The Kings then take on LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Lakers for a two-game set at Golden 1 Center with a 7 p.m. tip on Thursday, Dec. 19, and a 3 p.m. start time on Saturday, Dec. 21. Sacramento ends their four-game homestand with the Indiana Pacers (Dec. 22) and the Detroit Pistons (Dec. 26) and closes out 2024 at the Lakers on Dec. 28 and versus Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks on Dec. 30 at Golden 1 Center.
Sacramento’s three-game homestand carries into January against Joel Embiid, Paul George, Tyrese Maxey and the 76ers in a New Year’s Day clash (Jan. 1) and comes to an end versus Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies on Jan. 3. The Kings then make their way to Chase Center to face off against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors for their first matchup of the regular season on Sunday, Jan. 5 at 5:30 p.m. The Kings return to Sacramento to play Miami on Jan. 6 at 7 p.m. before embarking on a three-game road trip that begins with Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and the reigning NBA champions, the Boston Celtics (Jan. 10), followed by contests against Chicago (Jan. 12) and Milwaukee (Jan. 14).
Upon returning to Sacramento for three games, the Kings meet the Houston Rockets at Golden 1 Center on Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. on TNT for the team’s first nationally televised game of the season. The Kings finish the homestand versus Washington on Jan. 19 and against the Golden State Warriors on Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. on ESPN. Following the homestand, Sacramento departs on a six-game road trip, tied for their longest of the season, which gets underway in Denver on Jan. 23 at 6 p.m. The Kings then go to the East Coast to take on the New York Knicks (Jan. 25), Brooklyn Nets (Jan. 27) and Philadelphia 76ers (Jan. 29) to end January before their trip concludes with games in Oklahoma City (Feb. 1) and Minnesota (Feb. 3).
Next, the Kings return to Sacramento for the first night of a back-to-back versus the Orlando Magic (Feb. 5) and head to Portland for an encounter on the road with the Trail Blazers (Feb. 6). Sacramento comes home for one matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans (Feb. 8) and then leaves for three road games, including at Dallas (Feb. 10) and a two-game set in New Orleans (Feb. 12, Feb. 13). Coming out of the All-Star Break, the Kings square off at home against Golden State (Feb. 21) and the Charlotte Hornets (Feb. 24) before ending February in Utah (Feb. 26).
During March, Sacramento will play nine games at home, the most at Golden 1 Center in a single month of the 2024-25 season. The Kings kick off the month on the road in Houston (March 1), Dallas (March 3) and Denver (March 5) and arrive back home to play San Antonio on March 7. Sacramento then appears in three consecutive nationally televised games against the Clippers (March 9, ESPN), versus New York (March 10, NBA TV) and at Golden State (March 13, TNT). The Kings head to Phoenix to face the Suns on March 14 and return to Sacramento for a season-long seven-game homestand that includes Memphis (March 17), Cleveland (March 19), Chicago (March 20), Milwaukee (March 22), Boston (March 24), Oklahoma City (March 25, TNT) and Portland (March 27).
To end March, Sacramento starts a six-game road trip in Orlando (March 29) followed by a matchup with the Pacers (March 31). The Kings tip-off April with stops at the Wizards (April 2), Hornets (April 4), Cavaliers (April 6) and Pistons (April 7) to finish their final road trip of the season. Sacramento comes back home to wrap up the season with games versus Denver (April 9, ESPN), the LA Clippers (April 11) and Phoenix (April 13).
