The Folsom Cordova Unified School District is hosting a hiring fair this Monday, June 12. The district is looking to fill over 200 open positions.

According an announcement from the FCUSD, interviews will be conducted and school officials are prepared to present job offers to qualified applicants on site for many of the classified positions.

The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. June 12 at the FCUSD District Office, 1965 Birkmont Drive in Rancho Cordova.

“We have a broad range of available positions for all levels of experience and education. With opportunities for growth and training, we are committed to investing in our workforce, so you’ll be able to grow your career within FCUSD,” said Associate Superintendent of Human Resources Don Ogden states.

The district is seeking applicants for full- and part-time positions, with primary needs for classroom assistants, after-school assistants and bus drivers. Many part-time positions allow the opportunity for candidates to stack and combine separate morning and afternoon positions.

SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union has partnered with the FCUSD to present the Hiring Fair and encourages participation.

“Classified employees are the backbone of every school, which is why we are honored to partner with Folsom Cordova Unified School District on this event,” said Josh Smith of SchoolsFirst FCU. “These jobs will provide people with an opportunity to make a positive impact in their community while helping them build financial security for themselves and their own families.”

The event will offer free childcare, food trucks and a finger printing rebate for up to $100 for the first 100 applicants Monday.
