The new addition to the Mimosa House family is located in the space that was previously occupied by the Waffle Barn in the Walmart Central Shopping Center.  The former longtime breakfast joint closed its doors during the pandemic, and never reopened.

At 3,400 square feet in size, the located offers both indoor and patio dining. It featured the popular Mimosa House menu that includes menu that includes several pages of breakfast, brunch and lunch entrees along with those many styles and flavors of mimosas and bubbly alcoholic drinks the eatery is named after and known so well for.

This is the seventh Mimosa House establishment for the Dedier family, who has long standing success in the business since the day long ago when the younger generations of the family convinced their father, Louis, to invest in a restaurant after they had grown up going to Sunday breakfast or brunch every Sunday.

“It’s any kid’s dream to come into a restaurant where you can eat all the food that you want. So, we pestered him enough to where he was finally, ‘Okay, I’ll invest in a restaurant,” is the story Devin Dedier loves to share and did so not so long ago when the family opened its Rancho Cordova location.
