The Classic Margarita
2 oz. Blanco Tequila
½ oz. Triple Sec Orange Liqueur
½ oz. Agave Nectar
1 oz. Lime Juice
1 Lime Wedge
Kosher Salt
Aperol Spritz
2 oz. Aperol
3 oz. Prosecco
1 oz. Club Soda
1 Orange Slice
Paloma
2 oz. High Quality Tequila
½ oz. Lime Juice
Grapefruit Soda (to top off)
1 Lime Wedge
Kosher Salt
Strawberry Daquiri
8 oz. Light Rum
32 oz. Fresh Strawberries (or frozen)
2 oz. Simple Syrup
4 oz. Lime Juice
Ice
Pineapple Jalapeno Margarita
1.5 oz. Reposado Tequila
3/4 oz. Triple Sec Orange Liqueur
½ oz. Pineapple Juice
1/2 oz. Lime Juice
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 thinly sliced Jalapeno
1 Lime Wedge (or pineapple chunk for garnish)
For those local Folsom residents not sure of what to purchase, Oak Wine & Spirits is hosting various liquor and wine tasting events on a regular basis. The secret here is that there is no set schedule, simply pop by the locale to ask the clerk or see the event sign on their locale.
Folsom Times learned that a tasting of will be Don Julio on June 16th , a wine tasting on June 23rd, and more events to come! P.S. If you are a resident in the American Canyon River area you can walk down and get some exercise in at the same time.
