Acclaimed blues artist rounds our a live music packed weekend ahead at Historic Folsom venue
Fresh off a headlining performance at the Blues and Bones Festival in Calaveras County, acclaimed blues-rock artist Shane Dwight is bringing his electrifying stage presence to Powerhouse Pub on Sunday Nov. 24. Dwight will take the stage for this week’s Powerhouse of Blues show from 3 to 6 p.m.
Known for his signature mix of blues, rock, country, and soul, Dwight wows audiences with his guitar mastery and dynamic stage presence. Fans can expect a high-energy show filled with powerful vocals, jaw-dropping guitar solos, and an engaging performance that makes the crowd feel like part of the act.
Dwight’s latest album, No One Loves Me Better, showcases some of his most personal and dynamic songwriting yet. From the heartfelt title track to the gritty “Bullets & Gasoline” and the playful “Sucker,” the album reflects the depth of his talent. Critics have praised his evolution as a songwriter, with Blues Revue Magazine calling him an “exceptional talent” and USA Today hailing him as an “ace songwriter.”
Over the past 20 years, Dwight has performed more than 3,500 shows, headlining major music festivals such as Beale Street Festival, Reno Blues Festival, and Ottawa Blues Fest. He’s shared the stage with legendary acts including B.B. King, Etta James, Blake Shelton, and The Doobie Brothers.
