The latest Folsom Times Shelter Pet Spotlight, presented in part by Symmetry for Health of Folsom, features a charming Border Collie and German Shepherd mix named Arthur. He’s eager to find his forever home and is currently residing at Sacramento County Animal Services’ Bradshaw Shelter.

Arthur is a neutered male, and shelter staff estimate he’s about 5 months old. With his mix of Border Collie and German Shepherd, Arthur is likely to be highly intelligent, active, and loyal. These breeds thrive on mental stimulation and plenty of exercise, so Arthur would be a perfect match for an active family or individual.

Weighing approximately 31 pounds, Arthur is a new arrival at the shelter, coming in on Wednesday, Nov. 14.

If you’d like to meet Arthur in person, visit Sacramento County Animal Care Services at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. The shelter is open for adoptions Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., with extended hours until 6 p.m. on Wednesdays. Adoptions are first-come, first-served, so don’t forget to bring a valid ID and plan your visit soon.

By adopting Arthur—or one of his shelter friends—you’ll not only gain a loving companion but also help create space for another pet in need. Arthur might just be the perfect addition to your family.
