This week’s Folsom Times Shelter Pet Spotlight, presented by Symmetry for Health of Folsom, features an energetic and lovable Pit Bull Terrier puppy named Connor. This young pup is full of life, looking for a forever home where he can grow, learn, and thrive. Connor is currently residing at Sacramento County Animal Services’ Bradshaw Shelter.
Connor is a neutered male, brown and white Pit Bull Terrier, estimated to be about 8 months old. Weighing approximately 40 pounds, he has been at the shelter since Feb. 28, 2025. As a young and playful pup, Connor still has some growing to do and is searching for a dedicated adopter who can guide him through puppyhood with patience and consistency.
While he’s full of energy and goofiness, new situations can sometimes feel overwhelming for him. Connor is hoping for a kind and patient adopter who will help him build confidence at his own pace. With positive reinforcement, structure, and plenty of playtime, he is sure to blossom into an amazing companion.
Connor has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy having a compatible canine friend in his new home. If you’re looking for a buddy for your dog, bring them to the shelter for a meet-and-greet to see if they’re a match!
If you’d like to meet Connor in person, visit Sacramento County Animal Care Services at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. The shelter is open for adoptions Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., with extended hours until 6 p.m. on Wednesdays. Adoptions are first-come, first-served, so don’t forget to bring a valid ID and plan your visit soon.
