Flower, a charming young Rottweiler mix, is the Folsom Times’ featured shelter pet this week. Recently arrived at the Sacramento County Bradshaw Animal Shelter, Flower is a spayed female with a striking tricolor coat. At just 1 year and 9 months old, she’s full of youthful energy and curiosity.
Weighing approximately 61 pounds, Flower is on the smaller side for her breed but has an abundance of love to give. She has already mastered the “sit” command and is eager to learn more. Her playful spirit is evident during long walks and playtime with her pals, making her an ideal companion for an active household.
Flower has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy having a compatible canine friend in her new home. If you’re considering adding another dog to your family, bring your current pet to the shelter for a meet-and-greet to see if they’re a match.
In a special effort to help Flower find her forever home, the shelter is waiving all adoption fees through August. This is the perfect opportunity to welcome Flower into your family and give her the loving home she deserves.
To meet Flower, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter, located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento, any Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., with extended hours until 6 p.m. on Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to bring your ID and note Flower’s Animal ID number, along with those of any other dogs you might be interested in.
