Nipper Brothers, Y2K, Mitch Woods complete full weekend billing

Historic Folsom’s Powerhouse Pub is set to deliver another solid weekend full of diverse live music, as five unique bands take the stage over the course of three nights, offering a mix of classic rock, blues, and throwback hits.

The fun begins on Friday, Nov. 15, with a tribute to one of the most iconic Southern rock bands of all time. Skynyrd Nation, a tribute act to Lynyrd Skynyrd, will recreate the music, sights, and sounds of the legendary band, giving fans the full Southern rock experience. The show starts at 7 p.m. and will set the tone for a night of high-energy performances. Following Skynyrd Nation, the Victori Band will take the stage at 10 p.m. Known for their dynamic performances, the band promises an electric mix of classic rock and modern sounds that will keep the crowd moving well into the night.

On Saturday, Nov. 16, Powerhouse Pub will host a pair of shows, starting in the afternoon with the Nipper Brothers at 3 p.m. This group has gained a strong following for their ability to blend the musical stylings of the Grateful Dead with an array of other genres, creating a unique sound that resonates with fans of both jam bands and classic rock.

Later in the evening, the focus shifts to the 2000s with Y2K Live, who will take the stage at 10 p.m. and deliver an energetic set filled with all the favorite throwback hits from the early 2000s. Expect to hear classic songs from artists like Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Britney Spears, J-Lo, Lil Jon, Usher, and many more. Y2K Live’s performance will bring a nostalgic vibe, letting fans relive the music that defined the turn of the century.

The weekend culminates on Sunday, Nov. 17, with the highly anticipated “Powerhouse of Blues” show featuring Mitch Woods and His Rocket 88s. The performance, starting at 3 p.m., will showcase Woods’ signature “rock-a-boogie” style, which blends jump blues, rhythm and blues, and a hefty dose of New Orleans influences.
