FOLSOM—A beloved springtime tradition is set to return to the streets of Historic Folsom as the Spring Arts and Crafts Fair marks its 56th year on Sunday, April 13.. The annual event will transform Sutter Street into a bustling marketplace filled with creativity, craftsmanship, and community spirit from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
For more than five decades, the fair has drawn thousands of visitors eager to explore a diverse selection of handmade arts, crafts, and specialty items. This year, more than 200 artisan vendors will line the historic district, offering everything from handcrafted jewelry and home décor to fine art and gourmet treats. It’s an ideal opportunity to find one-of-a-kind gifts for birthdays, graduations, or upcoming Mother’s and Father’s Day celebrations.
Beyond shopping, the fair will feature live entertainment, various activities, and an array of food trucks, ensuring a full day of enjoyment for families and visitors of all ages. The event will take over four blocks of Historic Sutter Street and extend into the public plaza near the landmark train turntable, creating a lively atmosphere filled with music, laughter, and artistic expression.
While parking will be available at 905 Leidesdorff Street for a $5 cash donation, spaces are limited and expected to fill quickly. Organizers encourage attendees to explore alternative transportation options such as light rail, carpooling, or ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft.
Rain or shine, the Historic Folsom Spring Arts and Crafts Fair promises a vibrant showcase of creativity and community, celebrating the talent of artisans while embracing the charm of Folsom’s historic district. For more details, visit historicfolsom.org.
