Get ready to be inspired! The Northern California Home & Landscape Expo, the state’s largest home and garden event, is back for its 30th anniversary. From January 31 to February 2, Cal Expo will come alive with hundreds of exhibits showcasing the latest trends, products, and services for your home and garden.
Over the past three decades, the Expo has attracted more than a million attendees, and this year promises to be the biggest celebration yet. Homeowners will have the opportunity to explore the largest collection of home improvement companies in one location. Many exhibitors are offering exclusive show-only deals, innovative products, and exciting giveaways.
This year, the Expo features an exciting new focus on outdoor projects with the Garden Education Hub. Visitors can learn from expert educators, including members of the Urban Wood Network, CA Master Beekeepers, and UC Davis Master Gardeners. They’ll also discover organic pest control techniques, shop for tropical houseplants and succulents, and take part in gardening activities, including ‘make and take’ projects.
Free workshops are scheduled throughout the weekend, including one led by renowned landscape designer Michael Glassman and Janey Santos, the popular home gardener behind the YouTube and Instagram channel DigPlantWaterRepeat.
For animal lovers, the California Pet Showcase is a must-see addition. Guests can shop for people-and-pet apparel, learn about pet wellness, and even capture memories with professional pet photography. The showcase also includes opportunities to meet rescue animals, including dogs, cats, and kittens, ready to find their forever homes.

The event runs from January 31 to February 2, 2025, with hours from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
