The Sunset River Band will take to the stage of Jan’s Lounge in Orangevale Friday for an evening of energetic entertainment that’s perfect for just enjoying over cocktails or out on the dance floor of the longtime popular night spot. It will be the first of two nights of live music, with Four Barrell on stage Saturday night
Since their start in 2020, the Sunset River Band has rapidly become a very popular and in-demand groups in the Sacramento area. The band cites its popularity in due in part for its combination of , “superb musicianship and excellent vocals together with a great song list that spans decades of big hits,” according to the group’s music promotional materials.
During Friday’s show, guest will see how the Sunset River Band moves effortlessly between classic and modern rock, blues, old school soul and country to offer something for everyone as they take their audience on what they refer to as a wild and winding musical journey while remaining faithful to the original renditions as a tribute to all the great music from artists that have inspired them over the years.
Woodland based Four Barrel is a high-energy dance band that covers great rock songs that have dominated radio air waves from the 60s to today. Four Barrel is best-known for a dynamic live-music experience that draws crowds into a nothin-but-fun, rockin’ good time.
The band has been on the live music scene throughout the Greater Sacramento Area for more than a decade, playing a variety of engagements, including clubs, weddings, private parties, and corporate and charity events.
