Folsom History is teeing up for its annual charity golf tournament, inviting community members to enjoy a day on the green while supporting the preservation and education of local history. The 2025 Folsom History Golf Tournament is set for Monday, September 15, at the Cold Springs Golf & Country Club in Placerville.

Participants will enjoy a full day of golf at the scenic Cold Springs course, located at 16500 Clubhouse Drive. The tournament format includes a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m., following registration beginning at 9:00 a.m. The $175 entry fee per player includes green fees, a golf cart, lunch, and entry into several contests including a hole-in-one competition, long drive challenge, and closest to the pin contest.

With proceeds going directly to Folsom History, the event supports vital programs like public exhibits, heritage preservation, school field trips, and the operation of historic sites including the Folsom History Museum and Pioneer Village.

“Whether you’re an avid golfer or simply want to support a great cause, this event is a fun way to help keep Folsom’s rich past alive for generations to come,” organizers said.
