Pet lovers have a chance to make tails wag and wishes come true during a special community event next week. On Friday, April 26, Pet Evolution in Folsom will participate in the company’s nationwide “Washes for Wishes” fundraiser, offering self-serve dog washes to support Make-A-Wish in honor of World Wish Day.
Pet parents are invited to bring their dirty dogs in for a bath anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. for a minimum $20 donation. No appointments are necessary, and all proceeds will benefit Make-A-Wish, which helps grant life-changing wishes to children facing critical illnesses.
“Dogs bring so much joy into our lives, and through ‘Washes for Wishes,’ we’re able to spread a little bit of that joy to those who need it most while leaving the bathing clean-up to us,” said Rian Thiele, CEO and founder of Pet Evolution. “We believe in committing to our communities and doing right for them, so this event is just one way we can join hands—and paws—to support the incredible work of Make-A-Wish.”
The fundraiser will take place at Pet Evolution, located at 25065 Blue Ravine Road, Suite 110, in Folsom, where guests can access spacious washing tubs equipped with anti-slip mats, natural shampoos, unlimited towels, hand-held sprayers, and professional-grade dryers. The setup is designed to be easy and comfortable for dogs of all sizes and ages, especially seniors.
The “Washes for Wishes” event is part of Pet Evolution’s broader commitment to community involvement.
