After a week off last week due to extreme heat, Folsom Historic District’s Summer Twilight Concert continues this Thursday evening. This week will mark the first of 10 more weeks of live music to take place in the Zittel Family Amphitheatre in the heart of the Historic District with the AKA Band bringing their energetic show to the outdoor stage in the heart of Historic Folsom.

The AKA Band is always known for making each concert they perform at a whole lot of fun for guests of all ages. This isn’t the first time they have played at the Historic Folsom venue and every they come back the crowd can’t help but get up and dance. The plays a wide variety of party music with classic rock, funk, country to today’s hits.

In addition to the return of live music Thursday, the Folsom Historic District Association will also be recognizing the float/entry winner of the recent Hometown Parade during the program. 

Prior to Thursday’s concert, nearby Willamette Wineworks will be hosting a special event that will include a special ribbon cutting celebrating the venue’s release of several new wine varietals. The event will also give attendees an opportunity to meet head winemaker Terry Culton as well as celebrate with Wineworks General Manager Carissa Moreland. The 2024 music series presented by Historic Folsom Station and Willamette Wineworks with a number of supporting sponsors that make it all possible. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and continues for two hours. An early arrival to the amphitheater is suggested to reserve a spot, guests are urged to bring low-backed chairs that sit close to the ground or picnic blankets.
