Whether you’re in the mood for hard-hitting modern rock or boot-stomping country, just outside of Folsom Jan’s Lounge in Orangevale has both covered this weekend with two nights of live music—no cover charge required. Friday and Saturday promise back-to-back energy with TWO20 and the AC McKinney Band taking over the stage.
Kicking things off Friday night, July 25, is TWO20, a high-energy modern rock cover band based right here in the Orangevale/Sacramento area. From 8 p.m. to midnight, the band delivers a fresh take on hits from Weezer, Foo Fighters, The Black Keys, Muse, Lit, and even classic punk like The Ramones.

TWO20 is known for reimagining popular rock tracks into dance-driven, immersive experiences that aim to lift spirits, clear stress, and get everyone moving. It’s not just a show—it’s a full-on rock party.
Then on Saturday, Jan’s flips the dial to real-deal country with the AC McKinney Band. Fronted by Nashville recording artists Angus and Cheryl McKinney, this group blends danceable country favorites with heartfelt originals rooted in the golden era of country.

Their live sets include classics from Merle Haggard, George Strait, Dwight Yoakam, and Marty Stuart, infused with Angus McKinney’s own songwriting style that keeps the spirit of traditional country alive and thriving. The show runs from 8 p.m. to midnight and is guaranteed to bring some honky-tonk flavor to downtown Orangevale.
Jan’s Lounge is located at 9222 Greenback Lane in the heart of downtown Orangevale, conveniently situated between Chestnut and Walnut avenues. It’s a local favorite known for its friendly neighborhood vibe and strong weekend lineups. In addition to a full-service bar and spacious seating indoors and out, Jan’s also serves homemade pizzas and other menu offerings to keep guests fueled for a full night of fun. The venue also features TVs for sports fans, pool tables, and a casual, welcoming environment.
