The Boardwalk welcomes a dose of live music this Friday and Saturday night that pay homage to two of rock and roll’s iconic names. Friday night will surely appeal to those that have a love for the iconic Red Rocker Sammy Hagar as Three Lock Box takes the stage of the Orangevale venue followed by Mirage on Saturday, a Tribute to Stevie Nicks and visions of Fleetwood Mac.
Three Lock Box, The Ultimate Sammy Hagar Tribute is known regionally as the premier tribute to the Red Rocker himself from the songs, the sound and even the look of the famed rocker. According to the Boardwalk show billing, Friday’s show is a high RPM salute does justice to over 40 YEARS of memories from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee 2007. Guests to the Orangevale music venue too travel back to 1972 with Sammy’s debut in Montrose when hits like “Rock Candy” and “Bad Motor Scooter” became set staples in the rocker’s career.
From Gold and Platinum selling solo albums, Hagar lead Van Halen for 11 years, with four multi-platinum studio albums, all reaching #1 on the US charts. Three Lock Box celebrates the classic rock hits including many favorites like There’s Only One Way To Rock, I Can’t Drive 55, Your Love Is Driving Me Crazy, “I’ll Fall In Love Again, Mas Tequila” and many more.
On Saturday, its Mirage bringing the music of Stevie Nicks to the Boardwalk stage in another top tribute show.
Based in Los Angeles, “Mirage” has earned the top honors among tribute artists – endorsed by AXSTV as one of “The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands” and heartily praised by the ‘real’ Stevie Nicks after she heard a performance.
“Mirage” recreates the classic lineup with a strong stage show and every detail to authenticity. From the custom wardrobe to the spot on musical and vocal performances, “Mirage” takes you on a Journey celebrating the hits of Fleetwood Mac in its prime.
