The Live on the Boulevard Concert Series wraps up its regular schedule tonight, Sept. 7. in El Dorado Hills Town Center with Uptown Funk, a well-known tribute to Bruno Mars taking the stage at the Steven Young Amphitheater.
Uptown Funk is bannered as “The Ultimate Bruno Mars Tribute, specializing in the complete Bruno Mars experience concert production as if you are at one of the popstar’s actual concerts.
Uptown Funk has been performing since 2017, according to the band’s media press materials. They pride themselves on playing all the hits exactly as Bruno Mars’ live band does onstage, including some of the most complex and challenging choreography for live audiences nationally and internationally.

Thursday’s concert begins at 7 p.m. and continues until 9 p.m. The concerts are free and general seating opens up just after 5:30 each Thursday. For those early birds, the El Dorado Hills Town Center operates under a unique early bird systems for those wanting to save their spot early for each concert.
Early set up is allowed at 5:30 p.m. but to participate you must utilize the center’s numbering system. Numbers handed out at 3:30pm. 1st come 1st serve by security at the concert site. Those with early bird numbers, must return to line by 5:30 p.m. and one number is good for up to 4 people. El Dorado Hills Town Center does not allow saving places in line with items.
Due to ABC regulations, this venue cannot permit outside alcohol and any ice chests and bags are subject to a search upon arrival.
