Since it first opened in 2008, one of the future goals of Red Hawk Casino was to one day become a full-fledged resort, complete with an on-site hotel. Fast forward about 15-years and that goal is becoming reality for the community and tribe alike as it prepares to open its luxury hotel in the coming days.

“Casino guests and community members have inquired for years about a hotel at Red Hawk Casino. We are beyond thrilled to finally bring this project to fruition and look forward to offering additional first-class amenities to our guests and community members,” said Red Hawk Casino CEO Bryan deLugo.

Joined by fellow casino leadership, deLugo gave Folsom Times a first exclusive tour of the new facility Tuesday afternoon to give the community a preview of what’s to come just up Highway 50 in El Dorado County. Construction crews are putting the finishing touches on the beautifully designed facility that will open to the general public by May 1.

The Red Hawk Casino hotel was developed and designed by Williams and Paddon Architects and Planners, and constructed by Level 10 Construction and Avanti Builders Inc.  The nearly 120,000 square foot hotel connects to the existing casino at five stories tall, with 156 guest rooms, including 25 suites. The opening of the hotel will conclude the first major expansion projects since the casino’s original opening

Additionally, the hotel will offer guests a stunning outdoor terrace with a pool that is still under construction along with a fitness center. From the moment you enter the lobby of the facility, you can’t miss the breathtaking views that overlook the nearby country side and sweeping views of the surrounding Sierra Nevada foothills.

The hotel joins Red Hawk’s recently opened, 85,000 square foot Apex amusement center, offering visitors a multi-story indoor electric karting track, 18-lane interactive bowling center, golf simulators, a virtual reality arcade and expansive sports bar with outdoor seating.

The combination of the new hotel, the recently opened Apex and the existing casino itself, offer families with members of all ages to enjoy a getaway, whether they are traveling from afar, or just want to enjoy an evening away from home without the worry of having to drive home after a night of entertainment.

In addition to the new hotel and the amusement center, the casino offers over 2,000 slots, all the most popular table games and six different award-winning restaurants, all of which are detailed on the casino website at www.redhawkcasino.com.
