According to data captured by security cameras at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6604 located at 1300 Forrest Street in Folsom, the incident took place shortly after 4:00 a.m. Sunday, long before anyone arrived at the facility.

Video footage from a camera directed at the machine captured what appeared to be two adult male suspects wearing jacket and face coverings as they committed the act. After gaining entry into the facility, the suspects can be seen attempting to pry the front of the machine open briefly. They then begin attempting to wrestle the machine from its mounts, slamming it repeatedly with their bodies in an effort to dislodge it from its secure mount into the floor of the hallway.

At one point in the video, one of the suspects places a large crow bar under the corner of the unit and then stands on the bar to pry the machine from the floor. Once the machine was free, the initial security footage shows them quickly grab it and exit the view of the camera.

An additional exterior camera captured the suspects back a dark colored pick-up truck up close to the doors of the building, load the machine into the truck and quickly drive away. The vehicle’s license plate is unreadable in the raw footage that the Veteran’s Hall shared on social media.
