Folsom Times is excited to announce that voting is now officially open for The Best of Times 2025, the highly anticipated community awards program that celebrates the very best in local business, service, and hospitality across Folsom and its surrounding areas.
After a successful nomination period filled with enthusiastic community participation, it’s now time for readers to help decide who takes top honors. From now through the end of July, the public is invited to visit the official Best of Times 2025 ballot page and vote for their favorite businesses, professionals, and organizations across dozens of categories.
From burger joints to boutiques, barbershops to brewpubs, The Best of Times 2025 ballot includes the most nominated names from this year’s entry period. Whether it’s the hairstylist who always gets it right, the local mechanic who goes the extra mile, or the taco truck you swear by, now is the moment to show your support and make sure your go-to spots get the recognition they deserve.
“This part is where the community really takes ownership,” said Adam Frick, co-founder of Folsom Times. “We’ve created the platform, you’ve nominated your favorites—now it’s time to vote and help celebrate the people and businesses that make Folsom such a great place to live, work, and visit.”
Frick, who fully developed the Best of Times platform, ensured the entire process remained 100 percent local—from design to execution. Built entirely in-house at Folsom Times, the program avoids third-party platforms and pay-to-play gimmicks. Winners are chosen solely through the voice of the community.
Voting is open now and will remain live through the end of July. Winners will be announced shortly after the voting period concludes, with first, second, and third-place recipients recognized in each category.

In addition to casting their votes, businesses also have the opportunity to upgrade their listings for added exposure throughout the voting period as well as receive various promotional materials to market their business to potential voters. Details on listing upgrades can be found on the official voting page or by emailing advertising@folsomtimes.com. One note, upgraded listings do not guarantee a businesses success but are merely designed to increase their visibility in the community, in their establishments and more.
