Northern California Innovation District in the News
I’ve talked about the Northern California Innovation District (NCID) earlier, as it’s become a tremendous resource for Folsom and the region, helping make impactful introductions, build relationships, and provide access to business opportunities. It’s seen its fair share of highlights recently, including the following.
NCID made international news! It was recently highlighted in an Irish business publication. Aidan Finn, CEO of Binarii Labs, shared how NCID helped him connect with regional stakeholders.
Innovation districts like the NCID are essential to helping entrepreneurs grow, find resources, and expand. Its latest success story, Fraxura, reinforces the importance of supporting new business development in Folsom.
NCID has also recently unveiled a new program, Pitch Night. Held on the third Thursday of the month at Granite School, it’s an opportunity to learn about early and mid-stage companies. So whether you’re actively looking to invest or want to know more about what investing in startups entails, be sure to check out Pitch Night. The next one, on March 16 from 5-6:30 pm, features AMYTY, Inc. Learn about investment opportunities at NCID’s Third Thursday Pitch Nights at Granite School.
Celebrate Folsom Businesses at the Annual Awards Event
Recognizing the Folsom business community is one of the perks of my job. I always look forward to Choose Folsom’s Annual Awards Event. This year’s event is on March 23, and I invite you to join us as we honor business leaders and community advocates at the Annual Awards Celebration at Lakeside Church. A true celebration, it will feature appetizers and award-winning wines from the Foothill Wine Competition.
