Night Fever, G-Ride, Adam Aldama and The Aces, Shane Dwight, and In Skip’s Spirit bring the groove October 10–12
FOLSOM — It’s another high-voltage weekend of live music at Folsom’s Powerhouse Pub as the Historic District hotspot rolls out five exciting shows across three days. From disco anthems and funky classics to soul-stirring blues and local musical showcases, there’s something for everyone ready to dance, groove, or vibe.
The weekend kicks off Friday night with Night Fever, a dazzling five-piece tribute band delivering all the glitter, rhythm, and groove of the disco era. Rewind the clock and hit the dance floor with hit songs from GQ, Heatwave, KC & The Sunshine Band, Barry White, The Village People, Donna Summer, Chic, Abba, Rod Stewart, the Bee Gees, and more. The party starts at 10 p.m. and keeps spinning all night under the mirror ball with this electrifying tribute to the ‘70s.
On Saturday afternoon, it’s time for the Saturday Dance Party featuring G-Ride at 3 p.m. This band delivers the funk and then some, playing all your favorite 1970s disco jams with a splash of new-school energy. If dancing is your plan, G-Ride is the sound to get you moving.

Saturday night belongs to Adam Aldama and The Aces, who bring a party-starting set at 10 p.m. This five-piece group is known for their high-octane performances and creative tribute themes like The Red Corvettes (Prince), Finesse (Bruno Mars/Michael Jackson), and Y2K Live (2000s hits). Fronted by Adam Aldama with Veronica Ballejos on vocals, Brett Sackett on lead guitar, Keywan Ryland on drums, and Jimmy O’Shea on bass, The Aces are pure energy—mixing nostalgia with infectious modern style.
Sunday’s Powerhouse of Blues series continues at 3 p.m. with a return performance by Shane Dwight, a touring blues-rock powerhouse with more than 3,500 shows under his belt. Dwight has shared stages with Blake Shelton, Joe Bonamassa, B.B. King, and the Doobie Brothers. From the House of Blues to international festivals, he’s built a reputation for delivering soulful vocals, searing guitar solos, and memorable performances that blend blues grit with rock edge.

Capping off the weekend is a heartfelt showcase of local music with “In Skip’s Spirit” at 7 p.m. on Sunday night. This inaugural event invites community musicians—many of whom got their start in Skip’s Music performance programs—to the Powerhouse stage. It’s an evening celebrating passion, talent, and Sacramento’s vibrant musical roots, bringing amateur musicians into the spotlight for a night of inspiration and connection.
All shows at Powerhouse Pub are 21 and over. The venue is located at 614 Sutter Street in Historic Folsom. For tickets and details, visit www.powerhousepub.com.
