Many of you know me and my work on behalf of Choose Folsom. But having seen some new faces in my connections recently, I thought it would be helpful to re-introduce the city and organization that I represent.

To start, Folsom is known for its outdoor recreation, history, strong economy, and vibrant business community. Choose Folsom , which I lead, is a non-profit organization that promotes economic vitality, community prosperity, and quality of life for Folsom’s businesses, residents, and visitors.

Most of what I focus is on Folsom’s business development side. There are many advantages to doing business in Folsom. It’s got a strong economy with a low unemployment rate. It’s also home to a diverse range of companies, from small startups like EV Life to large and established corporations like Intel Corporation. This diversity helps to create a vibrant and dynamic business community,

Folsom boasts proximity to airports, light rail, and major transportation hubs, making it easy to get goods and services to market.

But that’s not all. You’ll find a highly educated workforce here, with a high percentage of residents holding college degrees.

And I’m not being biased when I say that Folsom is also a great place to raise a family, with excellent schools and various recreational opportunities. Thanks to the City of Folsom‘s efforts, our green space and trail network continues to grow, with no sign of slowing down.

At Choose Folsom, our goal is to help businesses succeed. You’ll find various resources, from site selection to workforce development. And to help companies to gain traction once they establish themselves in Folsom, we host events and networking opportunities throughout the year to help connect businesses and people with the community.

In addition, we work with several regional organizations, including Northern California Innovation District, the Hwy 50 Economic Alliance, and the Greater Sacramento Economic Council. Collectively, these alliances allow us to create more significant shared opportunities for businesses looking to Choose Folsom.

Whether you’re looking to relocate an existing business, start a new one, or find a place to settle down with your family, Folsom is a terrific option. We have a lot to offer businesses, remote workers, and anyone seeking new opportunities.

We’re not joking when we say it’s easy to live, work, and play here.
