Folsom’s Wineworks is presenting a double dose of entertainment Saturday, March 16. In addition to its weekly music series taking place in the evening, the Historic Folsom destination will feature live music from 1:00- 4 p.m featuring Rick Esterling on stage. 

Esterling’s afternoon entertainment will be followed by by by an evening of more entertainment as David Albertson performs from 5:30-8:30 p.m. (See additional story on Albertson here.)

Esterling’s baritone voice and rhythmic stride piano style combine to create emotive, toe-tapping renditions of some of the very best music from the 20th century, according to his musician bio. The artistic is comfortable playing soft instrumentals from background shadows as well as being center stage under the spotlight. 

Raised mostly in Alabama, Esterling has musical roots in southern rock, honky tonk, country, easy listening, R & B, pop, Mississippi blues, classic rock, and later tin pan alley, jazz, big band, and swing. Rick enjoys the music of John Phillips Sousa as much as John Williams as much as John Prine, John Denver, John Fogerty, and Jon Bon Jovi.

Esterling shares his passion and enthusiasm for many genres and styles of music at every performance he puts on that always is inclusive with a collection of storytelling that is always entertaining.
