The summer rhythm is in full swing at Powerhouse Pub, and this weekend’s entertainment lineup is stacked with everything from smooth grooves and funk dance parties to a tribute that brings the magic of Bruno Mars to the heart of Folsom. Whether you’re looking to kick off your weekend early or dance late into the night, Powerhouse has your soundtrack ready from Friday through Sunday.
Things get started early on Friday, June 13, with a special TGIF early show featuring the Yacht Rockers. This smooth-sailing group brings a laid-back vibe to Sutter Street, performing cool grooves and mellow funk that evoke the polished sound of late ‘70s and early ‘80s soft rock. Described as “a first-class ticket to Funky Town,” the Yacht Rockers deliver a sound that’s tailor-made for a summer evening on the town. The early set starts at 7:00 p.m., and like all Powerhouse events, it’s 21 and over.
As the night picks up steam, Supergroove takes over the stage at 10:00 p.m. Known for their energetic blend of R&B, funk, and ‘80s Old School hits, this dance party band knows exactly how to pack a dance floor. Their high-octane show promises wall-to-wall movement, vibrant rhythm sections, and a retro-meets-modern party atmosphere that will keep the crowd on their feet well into the night.

Saturday, June 14, brings even more energy to the venue, starting with the Saturday Afternoon Dance Party featuring The Collective. Hailing from Sacramento, this group of seasoned musicians is known for blending genres like classic rock, funk, jazz, soul, and R&B into one seamless, electrifying performance. They hit the stage at 3:00 p.m., providing the perfect weekend soundtrack for those looking to get a jump on the action.
As the evening rolls around, Powerhouse invites the community to cool down and connect with Singles Night, starting at 7:00 p.m. This laid-back social gathering offers an alternative to awkward speed dating, with summer-themed games and casual mingling in a festive atmosphere. Whether you’re single and ready to meet someone new or just looking to enjoy a fun evening out, it’s all about good vibes and zero pressure.

The party doesn’t stop there. At 10:00 p.m., Finesse brings the heat with The Bruno Mars Tribute Show — one of Powerhouse’s most popular acts. With crowd-favorite hits like “Uptown Funk,” “Runaway Baby,” “Treasure,” and “Locked Out of Heaven,” this tribute delivers the glitz, charisma, and dancefloor anthems that have made Bruno Mars a global sensation. Add in Powerhouse’s five bars, DJs on the patio, and Big Rob’s Cigar & Hookah Lounge, and you’ve got the ultimate Saturday night party experience.
Closing out the weekend in style is the return of Shane Dwight for Powerhouse of Blues on Sunday, June 15, at 3:00 p.m. With over 3,500 live performances under his belt and appearances at major festivals from Memphis to Germany, Dwight is a veteran of the blues circuit.

He’s shared the stage with legends like B.B. King, Joe Bonamassa, The Doobie Brothers, and Tedeschi Trucks Band. His Sunday set in Folsom brings a full four-piece band complete with keys and backing vocals, promising a lush, rocking sound that blues lovers won’t want to miss.
Powerhouse Pub is located at 614 Sutter Street in Historic Folsom. Parking is available throughout the Historic District, and a free shuttle runs on weekends to help patrons get to and from the venue with ease.
