Powerhouse Entertainment in Historic Folsom has another jam-packed weekend of live music lined up that will take audiences through a time warp of genres—from the iconic riffs of Led Zeppelin to the high-energy hits of the 2000s, eclectic rock, and a Sunday blues showcase featuring a lineup of legendary musicians.

The weekend kicks off on Friday, April 25, with a 7:00 p.m. early show by LAD Zeppelin, a powerhouse tribute to the legendary rock band. From “Communication Breakdown” to “Kashmir,” LAD Zeppelin delivers a high-voltage celebration of the band’s most dance-worthy tracks. It’s more than a tribute—it’s a full-on groove fest, complete with all the raw energy that made Led Zeppelin a rock institution.

Once the clock strikes ten, Powerhouse flips the vibe to full-throttle nostalgia with Y2K Live. This electrifying band brings the best of the 2000s to life, spinning hits from Backstreet Boys, N’SYNC, Britney Spears, Lil Jon, Usher, Blink-182, and more. If you’re ready to scream along to “Yeah!” and belt out “Bye Bye Bye,” this one’s your night. With five bars, Big Rob’s Cigar & Hookah Lounge, and two DJs lighting up the patio, the venue transforms into Folsom’s biggest Friday night party.

The energy continues into Saturday, April 26, with a special 3:00 p.m. afternoon dance party featuring Echo Summit. This Sacramento-based band is known for blending classic rock and blues with a bold horn section that gives their sound a soulful edge. Echo Summit has been lighting up venues across Northern California, and their mix of premium musicianship and eclectic style makes them the perfect choice for a vibrant afternoon session.

Stereotype

Later that night at 10:00 p.m., Stereotype hits the Powerhouse stage with their genre-bending, high-energy cover performance. With mashups of pop, rock, R&B, classic rock, country, and old-school hip-hop, this five-piece Sacramento band brings nonstop motion and a crowd-hyping set list that transforms every show into a wild, dance-packed experience.

The weekend winds down with a musical journey through American blues history during Powerhouse of Blues on Sunday, April 27, at 3:00 p.m., headlined by Blues Project—a group made up of veteran musicians whose careers span decades and who have played with some of the most iconic names in music.

Roy Blumenfeld, drummer and founding member of the original Blues Project, leads the lineup. His extensive résumé includes playing with Al Kooper, Nick Gravenites, and Robert Hunter, bringing unmatched authenticity to the rhythm section. He’s joined by David Aguilar, whose resume includes collaborations with Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, and Bo Diddley—his guitar work an emotional journey all its own.

Tim Eschliman, whose roots stretch through Commander Cody, Maria Muldaur, and the Christmas Jug Band, brings his bass and vocal talents to the mix, while Mark Newman, an acclaimed guitarist and mandolin player from New York, adds soulful warmth and rock ‘n’ roll chops. Rounding out the group is Ken Clark on keys and harmonica, whose background in jazz, blues, and funk adds dynamic texture to an already world-class lineup.

Whether you’re chasing the nostalgia of early 2000s pop, jamming to classic rock, or soaking in the soul of seasoned blues legends, Powerhouse offers something unforgettable every night this weekend.
