Members of the business community and the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce gathered Tuesday night to officially welcome one of the area’s newest restaurants Vacanza Romana, with its official ribbon cutting.

Located in El Dorado Hills Town Center, just below the Regal Theaters, Vacanza Romana is an Italian eatery and the latest addition of local restaurants owned and operated by the Dedier family.

The eatery opened in late spring in a spot that was previously home to another Dedier family restaurant, Stick House Asian Fusion and Mongo Bar. The restaurant was shuttered for several months while being remodeled and rebranded to what it is today, an Italian restaurant that is getting rave reviews by its customers.

“With so many awesome concepts coming to Town Center, we felt the need and want for a good family driven Italian restaurant,” wrote Devin Deider as he explained the previous closure and the family’s plans to transform the eatery.”

The Deider family also owns the area Mimosa House restaurants, one of which sits next door to their newest venture. The family cites that Vacanza Romana was built on the idea that everyone should be able to experience the flavors, taste and atmosphere of Rome. According to their website bio, the restaurant came to life with the, “idea of honoring the heritage of Italy all while sustaining farms and local providers around California valleys.

The restaurant’s menu features a vast selection of items to satisfy all levels of appetites, from starter snacks to sharables, fresh house made pasta dishes, grilled entrees, seafood pizza and more. In addition to offering a vast menu items and fine wine list, the family and staff strive to provide an exceptional dining experience where guests feel welcome as if they are at home with family.

“We hope to provide a sense of hospitality unable to find anywhere else other than your own table. To nurture the sense of warmth, community and family,” they state. “We believe in building a long-lasting relationship with our guest through the power of sharing great food and drink. We strive to share experiences, memories and stories through our skill and passion for our cuisine and overall devotion to hospitality.”
