The Folsom High School Theatre department recently participated in the Lenaea High School Theatre Festival at Folsom Lake College and brought home an impressive 14-awards.
The annual festival brings together 62 schools from throughout Northern and Central California to compete in a variety of acting and technical theatre categories. 31 students from both the school’s acting and technical theatre programs entered a variety of performance and design categories.
Folsom High School had great success at the event, earning one or more medals in every category entered, for a total of 14 awards. The participating spent hours of their personal time outside of the classroom to prepare their pieces/projects in preparation for the
competition. All of the participants did an outstanding job representing Folsom High and the Folsom Cordova Unified School District.
