The Folsom Lake College Falcons Baseball team (12-1) was at home on Tuesday afternoon to take on the visiting Mendocino College, Eagles (5-7). The game started off with an unusual situation as starting pitcher, Gavin Ochoa, suffered a pre-game injury and was unable to pitch in the game. Head Coach, Rich Gregory, called on freshmen reliever, Dylan Warren, to enter the game in the top of the first inning and Dylan delivered 5 solid innings for the Falcons and earned the win, 10-6.
Offensively, the Falcons were led by Christian Cochran, and Cameron Saso who combined to go 4-for-7 with 3 runs, and 4 RBIs. Besides Cochran and Saso, the Falcons had RBIs from Chris Catalano, Drake Digiorno, JT Waldon, Nate Vargas, Wyatt Reginatto, and Jacob Elias. JT Waldon leads the state in runs batted in with 24.
