All westbound lanes on Greenback Lane from the entrance to Black Miners Bar to American River Canyon Drive have been closed Tuesday morning for emergency road repair after city officials discovered a sink hole in the roadway..
Westbound Greenback Lane traffic is being shifted into the eastbound lanes at Black Miners Bar, according to the City of Folsom.
Motorists traveling in the area can expect delays and are encouraged to find an alternate route until further notice.
All left turns will also be restricted at American River Canyon Drive.
The length of the closure remains undetermined until the cause of the sinkhole is determined and repairs can be made to the roadway to insure it is safe for traffic.
