A new sport to grab a refreshing drink or dessert has officially opened its doors in Folsom.  Bambu Dessert Drinks is the newest addition to open its doors in the Prairie City Crossing Shopping Center.

Located at 1870 Praire City Road in Folsom. Bambu has set up shop in the space previously occupied by T-Crepes, which closed its doors last year.

The company has over 70 franchises across the country and is operated locally by residents Sang Le and Stephanie Tran.

The San Jose-based Vietnamese dessert and drink company since 2008, Bambu’s specialty is traditional Vietnamese smoothies along with a variety of coffee drinks, fruit and milk-based teas, juices and more.

They also serve Asian inspired yogurt.  All of their items are made from fresh ingredients, according to their menu. The company touts itself as being the home of the, “# Chè.”

Chè is a Vietnamese word for traditional homemade beverages, dessert drinks, and puddings. Our Chè is made to order using fresh cut & drained coconut water plus house-prepared coconut milk combined with a unique selection of fresh, healthy, and delicious ingredients.

The business hours are advertised as Sunday through Friday 11:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday 11:30 a.m. though 9 p.m. More information about Bambu can be found on the company website www.drinkbambu.com.
