Historic Folsom is going to the dogs, at least that’s the case for a few ours this Sunday, Oct. 15. It’s known as Pawtoberfest and much like the name eludes, it’s a free dog friendly family event packed with fun, contests and more from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Taking place at the Zittel Family Amphitheater in the heart of Historic Folsom, Pawtoberfest is presented by popular pet retailer Ben’s Barketplace.  A portion of the proceeds from the event is slated to benefit the local Hearts 4 Heroes USA Paw Platoon placement program.
