Members of the community joined staff and ambassadors from the Folsom Chamber of Commerce Tuesday evening to welcome Quick Dish Restaurant to the Folsom community and celebrate with an official ribbon cutting at their newly remodeled restaurant.

Located at 322 East Bidwell Street in Folsom, Quick Dish isn’t brand new to the community, however, they have a newly remodeled dining room, new menu items and are no licensed to service beer and wine so it was time for them to celebrate with area dignitaries and members of the community.

The Owners of Quick Dish tell their story of how Folsom became their destiny.

Quick Dish w co-founded by Brazilian chef Jeferson Luiz Huesner and his wife Lina. The mission of their local restaurant is to bring to the community a different vision on fast food. They offer customers what they like to refer to as, “real food, made with care, with fresh ingredients and high-quality standards to please our final consumer.”

With more than 20 years-experience in the business, chef Jeferson has brought his knowledge and skillset when it comes to preparing Brazilian BBQ the Brazilian way to make great and fresh food.

Not long after he was born in Minas Gerais, Brazil in 1983, Jeferson’s favorite place to be has been in the kitchen. He learned everything from his father, who owned several restaurants in Brazil. While growing up, Jeferson would watch and help his father on everything he could.

Local Folsom residents themselves, both Jeferson and Lina hope have been working hard to make Quick Dish a go to place in Folsom for hungry residents to enjoy their fresh entrees, The restaurant’s menu is not limited to just Brazilian Barbecue dishes. They offer a variety of delicious meals, appetizers and beverages including sandwiches, pizza and more. They offer daily specials, family plates and more all at reasonable prices.

“We have a true love story with Folsom, we first came here in 2017,we moved out and then we moved right back,” said Lina, as she spoke to the many guests on Tuesday night. “We really love it here. We’ve been here two years now but we just got a liquor license so that’s why we are celebrating with everyone today.”

One of the many traits the restaurant is known for is its welcoming hospitality and customer service. Not only do Jeferson and Lina welcome their customers when they come it, their entire staff does the same with a smile and a dedication to provide great service.

“Everyone is always welcome here and we do all types of things with food so if you have a special need just give us a call,” Lina added. “We hope everyone will come visit us and hope to see all your faces here.”
