Folsom’s Sutter Street Theatre is bringing another long popular musical to its stage starting this week with You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown.
According to the playbill, with charm, wit, and heart, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown explores life through the eyes of Charlie Brown and his friends in the Peanuts gang, the characters we are all familiar with by the late Charles Schultz.
This revue of songs and vignettes, based on the beloved Charles Schulz comic strip, musical numbers include “My Blanket and Me,” “The Kite,” “The Baseball Game,” “Little Known Facts,” “Suppertime,” and “Happiness.” Guaranteed to please audiences of all ages!
The local production of the musical comes to life under the direction of Brayden Plumb. Vocal direction is by Hannah Hurst with Choreography by Sarah Williams, who is doing the same for the theatre’s other current production of Cabaret.
You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown opens this Saturday June 3 and will continue through June 25 with shows on both Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00 p.m. The play is appropriate for all audiences.
