Motorcyclist injured following collision with vehicle
Folsom Police has issued an advisory for motorists to avoid the area of Creekside Dr between East Bidwell Street and North Lexington due to a traffic collision.
Emergency personnel are active on the scene of the incident and were expected to remain active for an unknown amount of time for investigation of the incident. The incident originally occurred at 4:13 p.m. when units were dispatched to the scene.
The collision reportedly involved a motorcycle and a vehicle, the motorcyclist reportedly suffered injuries and required transport to a medical center for care. At this time Folsom Police are not releasing any further information regarding the collision or victims, other than the advisory to avo.
Update: 7:52 p.m Folsom Police has announced the roadway has been reopened.
