Rancho Cordova- Authorities have began an investigation Wednesday morning at a Rancho Cordova hotel after a body was was found dead in the pool of the facility.
The body is reported to be that of an adult male and was found in the indoor pool of the Hamption Inn, located on Gold Center Driver. The body was dis covered shortly after 6:30 a.m. Authorities from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, Rancho Cordova Police Department and the County Coroner’s office remained on scene late in the morning as the investigation continued.
No additional information on the victim or the cause of death has been released.
