Get ready for night of celebration and big news this Saturday evening as Folsom’s Sutter Street Theatre will be hosting its annual season announcement party and gala. The event will be taking place off site from the theatre inside the Historic Granite Grammar School just up the street.
This annual event is always the site of celebration as theatre staff, volunteers, cast members and supporters all come together to celebrate the contribution the theatre provides to the community of Folsom.
“The Gala is a celebration of 17 years of Art and Theatre excellence, which includes a “Taste of Folsom”, live entertainment, raffle and silent auction, dancing and more culminating with the announcement of our 18th Season as we step into the future,” said Sutter Street Theatre’s Founder Mike Jimena.
The event will offer food for guests donated by various restaurants as well as entertainment by Sutter Street Theatre actors. There will be a number of drawings for great prizes and a silent auction, all of which will benefit the non-profit organization that brings live theatre to the community throughout the year.
Some of the great prizes will include Disney collectables, gift cards, Jim Shore Collectables, Ice Rink gift certificates, vocal lessons, horse riding certificates, a bed & breakfast stay and much more. All of the prizes have been provided by area businesses in support of the Sutter Street Theatre.
Tickets for the event can be purchased in advance at www.sutterstreettheatre.com or by calling them at (916) 353-1001. Tickets will also be available at the door for $15. In addition to the evening of food and entertainment, guests will be able to get ticket discounts Flex Passes and special ticket packages for Evil Dead 2024, this year’s Holiday in the Hills and the New Year’s Eve Party as well as special prices for our 2024 Workshops.
Granite Grammar School is located at 909 Mormon Street in Folsom. For this evening, Sutter Street Theatre will be dark to allow its staff and cast to attend their annual gala. The event begins at 7:00 pm.
