The City of Folsom has advised that a section of East Bidwell Street has been closed to traffic Wednesday, Nov.8 and that motorists should plan accordingly.
The closure includes the southbound lanes of East Bidwell Street from Coloma Street to Rumsey Way. The unexpected closure is to allow city personnel to perform an emergency waterline repair. According to city officials, detours and signage are in place. The closure is expected to be in place until approximately 3 p.m.. Motorists that plan travel in this area should plan an alternate route to avoid delays.
Currently there are no reports of water service interruption.
